Various Positions in Equity Research (with 3-8 years of prior work experience)

Educational Qualification: Science Graduate (B.E., B.Tech, or B.Sc.) and Post Graduate in Finance (MBA, MMS, PGDM), or International CFA (all three levels cleared)

Experience:

- Equity Research Analyst position : Total 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry after completing the post-graduation

- Senior Equity Research Analyst position : Total 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry after completing the post-graduation

Should have a minimum of three years of working experience in the financial research domain (in a KPO set up) for both the above positions.

Preferences:

- Should have worked for a min. of 2 years in the current organization

- Engineering background

- Enthusiastic and willing to participate in the growth journey of the company from a small size to big size

Job Description:

- Working on various types of assignments, such as preparation of financial models/valuations, initiating coverage reports, equity research reports, fundraising presentations/profiles, company reports, industry reports, investment teasers, IM, pitchbooks (both on sell-side and buy-side projects)

- Supporting the senior analysts/client analyst on various tasks, including data gathering, populating financial models, building financial models, preparing sections of reports or the entire report, ratio calculation and analysis, deep-dive secondary research, and populating industry/company presentations.

- Ensuring that the tasks assigned are completed within the deadline and ensuring top quality output with a thoroughly conducted self-driven quality-check process

- Handling ad-hoc research requests as per client requirements

- Exposure to sell-side, buy-side, private equity, wealth management-related assignments

- Contributing to internal knowledge creation and ad-hoc assignments

- Support in developing and maintaining databases to monitor/analyze industry and companies

- Data mining through deep internet research

Skills Required:

- Must be well versed and experienced in financial modelling and valuation, including DCF, writing reports of various forms- short company profiles, detailed initiating coverage reports, equity research reports, fundraising presentations/profiles, sector/industry reports

- Must have analyzed and researched on the companies from the US, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East across sectors (We specialize in Life sciences, Consumers, and Cleantech sectors)

- Should ideally have handled more than one project at a time (Ability to work on different projects/teams)

- Should have exposure to global macros and asset classes

- Self-driven and willing to take responsibility

- Excellent analytical and communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
