Zonal Factory Finance Manager | Hyderabad

JOB SUMMARY

This position handles the business finance and responsible to ensure Compliance, Internal Control & 100% accurate Books of Account for the Zone. Positions provides the framework to the zone for achieving the business goals and ensure the identification of R&O in KPI and continuity. Positions ensures the propriety of spends and performance of assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Core Control, Compliance and books

- Review of financial, tax and legal documents/reports to ensure 100% accuracy and adherence to contracts, regulations and polices. Review documents along with identified action points and closure trails can be produced within 2 days

- Ensure Internal controls SOP are fully understood by plant team and complied with. Zero deviation in controls at any point of time due to unawareness. Built ways to identify gaps in controls and compliances

- Set mechanism for zero error and no delay in reporting's and document submission.

- Ensure that the documentation and information trails are maintained for tax matters, submissions and disclosers

- Ensure contracts, bank guarantees, Power of attorney etc are in place

- Ensure assets and liabilities are reflected correctly at their realizable and payable values.

- Challenge current ways with the objective to bring process and cost efficiency

- Ensure completion of audits within given time, open points list agreed at unit level and closure of internal audit points

- Able to assess risk in tax positions, internal control, vendor's financial position and project/financial KPIs

- Lead the tax litigation discussions and built scenarios for probable outcomes

- Ensure no tax positions has been taken without assessment of risk. Assess adequacy of provisions on periodic basis in light of new developments

- Support units to handle statutory audits and closure of audit points

- Setting up system of physical asset verification, tagging and identifying impairment.

2. Drive Financial performance of Zone

- Benchmark cost of conversion for each type of line and SKU. Clear segregation of cost in fixed & variable and cash and non-cash.

- Annual plan (opex/capex/ initiatives) for zone is fully prepared in line with organization's priorities and function's overall plan

- To have dashboard/MIS on business risks, assets performance, KPI (financial, projects and operational) and control deviations

- Submit the yearly due diligence requirements for bottlers i.e. declaration for solvency and payment of dues, audited financials and review comments

- Ensure Share of business norms for raw material are followed at zone and RCA to be performed for deviations

- Built the network to gain knowledge about business partners tie-up and financial conditions.

- Work with sales finance on financial improvement including, reduction in inventory, detention and write offs

- Manage the bottler's negotiations for rates, loans and capacity in line with budgets (for 3P units only)

- Guide and lead unit teams for budget and estimates preparation

- Manage budget compliances and ensure no risk and opportunity in budgets remains unnoticed and unanswered

- Evaluate alternate sourcing proposals to bring efficiencies

3. Lead/assist HO/Zone/Plant driven projects

- Projects planning, quantification of project KPI and project governance for Zone specific projects. Monthly update MIS to OPS HO on project progress and R&O (will be zone specific)

- Identify non-effective processes, tools and assets at Zone

- Stabilize and sustain Phoenix KPI and finance processes improvement project

- Ensure that 3 year capex plan for the units prepared and aligned with HO in line with unit's vision

- Data/Inputs on representations to corporate affairs on cost efficiency and ease of business

4. People development and engagements at zone

- Provide education and training across the zone on tools and processes, cost drivers, internal controls, and financial performance measurements. Conduct 1 session once in 2 months for new/transferred employees

- Develop FFM on any leadership attributes through on the job training project

- Operations Team, IT and Other verticals of finance

Business Partners, Vendors, Tax advisors, Government Authorities

PROFILE DETAILS:

QUALIFICATION:

Qualified Chartered Accountant with Min. 12-16 years' experience with at least 5 years' experience in Manufacturing

Essential/Must-have:

- Minimum 12-16 years' work experience, ideally with multinational FMCG

- Prior experience in Manufacturing Finance, Analytical skills, experience of working with cross functional teams and business leaders, strong communication and presentation skills. Good business acumen

- Desirable/Good to have: Prior Experience of handing teams
