JOB SUMMARY : The Solutions Delivery Lead is responsible design and delivery of IT solutions in alignment with the IT strategy. The role will be a key driver in creation and enabler of IT strategy and roadmap. This role will lead the formulation and communication of application strategy and roadmap in partnership with technology lead. The role will own and execute the portfolio and project management and be responsible for project life-cycle processes. The role will be responsible from design to implementation of all approved solutions, including transition to support team. This role will be responsible for creating a high performance collaborative team with strong people leadership. The role will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement in the solution portfolio to improve adoption and enhance realized value. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Main roles and responsibilities : Strategy and Application Roadmap : 10% - Understand business strategy and priorities to carve out the solutions choices - Propose new technology-based business models and capabilities. - Cooperate closely with IT Business Relationship Managers and IT Management team to define the IT Strategy &amp; Roadmap. - Works with the CIO and business leadership team, providing broad insight to IT domains, industry best practices and capabilities Project Delivery and Governance of Delivered Applications : 50% - Responsible for delivery the approved application roadmap and for allocation of resources accordingly. - Responsible for driving focus and prioritization within the IT Solutions Delivery organization - Manage IT projects and deliver solutions on time, on budget and on scope, keeping in mind the quality, security, usability and performance guidelines and expectations. - Ensure organizational change management plan is properly identified and executed along with technology enablement. - Monitor progress and ensure the project reporting is accurate and well communicated to the business. - Estimate and manage budget and resources within set limits of budget or project approval. - May oversee the execution of high-impact, enterprise wide, strategic programs or initiatives. - Responsible for optimizing application solution landscape and project delivery process. - Will lead to incorporate process industry best practices into standard operations within the organization. - Manage application risks and improvements to enhance capability, performance and to minimize costs. - Plan and ensure application life cycle is in accordance with IT guidelines - Manage a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts - Build and cultivate critical relationships with key business partners and stakeholders - Support enabling key user communities - Ensure documentation is up to date and solutions developed are transitioned to Service Delivery teams in accordance to set guidelines. - Drive solution risk evaluation and management in liaison with Information Security lead. - Drive compliance of solutions developed in line with PR processes and external requirements. - Support audits for solutions delivery areas. IT Solutions Advisory: 5% - Bring assistance to affiliates, maintaining strong relationships with local teams, identifying and sharing best practices through expert missions. - Promote standard applications where justified. - Responsible for the Optimization of the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). People and Budget Management: 25% - Oversee team in the areas of selection, training, evaluations, disciplinary actions and safety. - Accountable for workforce planning, performance management, talent development, succession planning, coaching and engagement. - Develop medium term workforce planning for cross-skilling and role enrichment - Responsible for developing strong leaders and a more diverse workforce by seeking multiple approaches to source/attract diverse talent. Incorporates diversity in succession planning and job fulfillment. - Communicates with candor to drive better performance and team enrichment - Holds team accountable for outcome and the approach to deliver so in line with PR leadership principles Vendor Management: 10% - Manage and evaluate vendors to ensure right solution choice at right price point. - Holding Partners accountable for DBT Deliverables, ensuring continuous improvement on delivery. - Ensure vendors deliver services in line with contract terms as per agreed SLAs - Maintain relationship with vendor eco-system. PROFILE DETAILS : Education required&nbsp;: Master or equivalent in computer sciences Experience / Background : - 10+ years of experience in a related area with atleast 5 years in managing teams - Proven track record in managing high performing IT teams - Solid Project Management experience, especially in managing cross-functional teams - Experience in influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders - Ability to manage project budget &gt; 1M- - Demonstrated expertise in large scale IT solution environments - Proven track record in deploying best practice methodologies and processes - Essential working experience: ERP, Business Intelligence, and Microsoft Technologies - Prefer certifications around Project Management and hands-on experience using proven methodologies - Prefer experience with large scale complex projects - Prefer experience in FMCG/CPG/Beverage sector - Prefer exposure to emerging technologies Skills / Competencies : - Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous situations - Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically while balancing tactical priorities - Ability to interact work and influence with others in IT and business that are not direct reports - Excellent verbal, written, planning, managerial, and organizational skills - Outstanding aptitude for project management - Demonstrated experience in several functional domains - Strong Customer orientation - Sound coaching and mentoring abilities - English mandatory - Strong result orientation - Strong collaboration and influencing skills - Ability to drive strong change advocacy - Ability to drive Continuous improvements - Demonstrated prudence on risk appetite while exploring explore alternatives - Excellent cross-functional team leadership and motivational skills INTERACTIONS : INTERNALLY : - CIO and CFO - Enterprise executive leadership team - Business unit executives - IT COE and Regional Leads - Peer Solutions Delivery leads of other regions - IT Demand Management BRM, Architects, Technology Leads, Information Security leads and IT Service Delivery leads, and their teams - Program Management Office (PMO) - Internal audit/risk assurance team EXTERNALLY : - System integrators/ implementation partners - IT infrastructure / application support partner/vendor and IT product/service providers - Business and IT advisory (e.g. strategy/roadmap) consultants - Special Interest Groups - Certification bodies and external auditors
