Performance Analyst - Finance - Energy (6-20 yrs)

- Analysis of business volume and margin performance by country and by segment highlighting variations vs budget and performance issues or opportunities that require intervention :

- Weekly actuals vs Budget, Forecast and Prior Year

- Monthly actuals vs Budget, Forecast and Prior Year

- Quarterly actuals vs Budget, Forecast and Prior Year

- Forecast vs Budget and Previous Forecast

- Annual Budget vs Prior Year

- 5 Year Plan vs History

- Production of basic reporting charts and tables for the above to meet specific reporting deadlines

- Analysis of Group / country / region / line of business performance including:

- Cost benchmarking

- Margin analysis

- Operational metrics, including non-financial metrics (volumes, number of service stations, capacity of terminals, headcount)

- Return on Capital Employed

- Retail line of business reporting

- B2B line of business reporting

- Ad hoc as required

- Tracking and consolidation of business performance improvement initiatives and highlighting variances in delivery vs forecast and vs commitment

- Improve quality and accuracy of master data - financial and non-financial, in particular retail master data, service station number and channel

- Capital and lease commitment approval and spend tracking, data verification, and capex report production

- Approval tracking

- Spend to date

- Comparison vs Budget

- Budget review

- 5 year plan review
