JOB DESCRIPTION FACTORY MANAGER

Job Location - Kosi, UP

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer (Product Availability Manager / Coordinator)

- Ensure that the products are available as per the Supply plan

- Upgrade the capability of the factory to handle higher pack complexity in a highly dynamic external environment

- Execute core work

- Product/pack changeovers

- Product/pack quality

- Trucks dispatched to order

- Build capability to handle new products collaborate with R&D, Packaging Commercialization team and HQ Quality for new product / new pack

2. Human Resource capabilities

- Hire & develop front line performers and management team

- Identify high performers and provide them a challenging work environment so as to retain them

- Oversee that Org health survey is conducted and execute the org health action plan

3. Plan Development and Execution

- Asset preservation and reliability

- Plant costs to target

4. Process Capability and Manufacturing Excellence

- Identify recurring problems for process improvement

- Build a culture of continuous improvement through TPM

- Deploy PI BPTs for improving efficiencies and engaging front-line

5. Compliance & Control

- Statutory compliance's for plant operations

- Ensuing GCS and internal controls

Experience and Qualification

- Graduate Engineer with 15-20 years of experience in a foods/snacks manufacturing set up/Projects

- Exposure, preferably to Foods/snacks products and processes, Packaging equipments. Exposure to Brown field/green field end to end projects (concept to commissioning) will be an added advantage.

- The candidate should be adept in handling the complexity of snacks/foods manufacturing industry, manufacturing strategy development and QA systems

- Exposure to working in a TPM culture

- Excellent team management / Leadership skills

- Excellent/Tactful communication, negotiation and influencing skills

- High level of confidence & ability to carry himself

- Strong focus on delivery and results with high drive and energy levels

- Exposure in dealing with statutory agencies tactfully and ethically.

- Ability to work in a matrix organisation.
