Main Purpose : - The prime objective of the role is to support demand shaping and ensure successful delivery of key IT initiatives as part of the Sector Insights Strategy to enable IT capabilities in the areas of Market Insights and Consumer Understanding. The role serves Sector Insights function and covers all markets and BU's across AMENA, both categories Beverages and Snacks as well as all business models COBO, FOBO, COSO. This role will cover and responsible for the below key Strategic Areas under Insights - - Building a reusable &amp; consistent data foundation that integrates internal (financial) and external (retail audit, brand equity, household panel, media) data for all AMENA BU's in a central repository to enable the insights team to rapidly generate insights to support decision making, and enable single version of the truth (AMENA PIN project) - Standardizing &amp; Streamlining 360 degree performance reviews and drivers analysis across all BU's to provide senior management/category leaders with timely insights to quickly uncover/address market issues and meet topline/share targets (AMENA PIN project) - Targeted consumer engagement (specifically social listening, consumer engagement management): help in drafting and firming up sector IT strategy in these areas by undertaking assessments, vendor evaluations and solutions bench marking The insights agenda is critical to meet AMENA's aggressive growth targets. Accountability - Support leadership in developing strategies for new capabilities (perform required assessments, technology evaluations, frame recommendation) - Define proposals to translate capabilities into executable projects: - Work with Business teams to firm up the Business requirements / scope by conducting workshops. - Lead the discussion on Project Planning and Execution methodology. - Partner with IT Delivery team to firm up the detail plan / estimates for project execution. - Ensure capabilities are delivered per scope, budget, timeline and committed value - Coordinate and engage with Delivery lead on daily basis to ensure adherence to project timelines. - Liaise with Business teams to ensure proper testing and validations for new solutions. - Raise business partner awareness to issues and risks while utilizing business-accessible language - Ensure sustenance of quality/timeliness of insights generated by setting up appropriate governance processes and sustain management - Continuously explore industry trends (through partnering with IT/Vendors) to bring innovative ideas to add value - Review and Highlight Global case studies and Best practices linked to our Strategic initiatives. - Work with External Partners to assess new IT capabilities offerings and evaluate use case for our business functions. - Partner with Global IT teams to help in evaluation of tools for AMENA markets. - Proactively develops and maintains relationships with key business partners Key Skills/Experience Required - Strong functional knowledge of Topline kpis, and their kpi drivers that are used for business performance reviews - Strong knowledge on external Data sources like Brand Mind share, Nielsen, Kantar, Media and their linkages to business performance. - Understanding of the data and analytic enabling capabilities (EDW/ MDM and advanced analytics) - Understand of emerging digital capabilities in the targeted consumer engagement space - Good project management and knowledge of IT systems/processes - Navigation skills/problem solving/ability to align &amp; influence multiple stakeholders - Very Good Presentation and Conceptual Selling skills Differentiating Competencies Required - Sophisticated strategist and conceptual thinker - Smart innovator - Embraces Challenges &amp; Risks - Demonstrate global acumen - Creates an inclusive culture - Collaborates beyond boundaries - Delivers the right results - Embodies Integrity &amp; Trust - Ability to work in a new, rapidly evolving environment and still deliver capabilities in alignment with stakeholders, - Ability to work with a strong collaboration in a matrix organization - Ability to drive business engagement, comfortably and confidently - Ability to interact with Senior Leadership in Business and in IT - Ability to research and drive innovation to support growth of the business and embed technology into their mindset Additional Comments : - Relevant Job Dimensions for this role are below, with some dimensions having a direct impact on the role complexity: - Many times this role has to work on emerging technologies and white spaces which does not have any standard playbook. Needs lot of engagement with multiple players to support markets in the right direction. - Due to lack of subject matter expertise in the AMENA Data &amp; Analytics Delivery team, this role has to engage in detail Data Audits and Data assessment from different internal and external sources to ensure no unknowns as part of project delivery. - Additional complexity in data integration due to different external sources ( agencies) for different data points resulting in lack of common structures &amp; format of data. Multiple versions of Product definitions across different partners also results in added complexity while integrating the data points for performance reviews. - With New Sector Insights team as part of FOF changes, this role is expected to have heavy engagement with sector insights team for demand shaping and project delivery. - PIN Project ( PEP Intelligence Navigator) has gained high visibility and would need dedicated focus to ensure support to Business teams including Sector President and Leadership. Additional Data sources integration is planned for this year.
