CLIENT: Biggest Media house in MENA region

ROLE:

Deliver Organisational Change & Transformation: partner with senior leaders in your client group to create and deliver the "people streams" of activity for their key strategic projects.

Drive the People Plan for your Client Group: agree the specific strategic people priorities for the year with your business leaders and then create the Annual People Plan to deliver against it. Provide advocacy and focus to you leaders and consulting team to ensure its successful implementation, eg Talent & Succession, Career Development, and Leadership Development.

Implement the People & Culture Strategy: define the delivery plan for the implementation of the FY16 People & Culture strategy into your business unit - based around the pillars of Leadership, Accountability and Capability - ensure understanding and commitment from your leaders.

Maintain People & Culture Operational Excellence: ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the basics of "BAU HR" activities through the Consulting team, eg Employee Relations, KPIs & Development Plans, performance and remuneration reviews, recruitment, leave accrual management, etc.

Lead the Team: support the Consulting team to deliver a valued and customer-focused generalist service, achieving the right balance of time spent on operational vs strategic initiatives.

REQUIREMENT:

Masters qualification in Human Resources or related field of study

7-10 years overall Generalist HR experience

Excellent stakeholder management skills - someone who knows how to create and deliver a strategic plan through collaborating with and influencing senior leaders in the business and their colleagues in the HR team

Must love working in an operational environment with a focus on "getting it done" quickly and simply

Change-resilient - able to cope with moving deadlines and changing priorities

Previous experience managing the people impacts of large scale, transformational projects

Excellent communication skills, able to be trust and rapport with senior leaders in a 1:1 context, as well as more formal facilitation and presentation skills to larger groups

Capable of having robust conversations with leaders and employees, prepared to challenge and hold people to account for their commitments and accountabilities

Able to work independently and prioritise workload in line with client group and HR objectives
