Technology Analyst - IOT Pentair Is currently looking to hire for Technology Analyst - IT Position : Technology Analyst (Electronics &amp; IT) No of Position: 1 Reports To (Title): Program Manager Technology. Location : Noida Position Requirements: - The Technology Analyst will work as a member of Technology analysis team and with the Patent Counsel, engineering managers and product managers in analyzing technology trends and competition. - The Analyst shall also perform patent portfolio analysis. It is preferred that a candidate have an intermediate knowledge of patents, the patenting process, and experience with patent searching tools and techniques as well as having a background in data analysis and BI fields. - Familiarity and interest in product development, technology, Innovation processes and Intellectual Property filing and management processes is a must. - Minimum Five(5) years of experience in Technology Analysis / IP Domain with hands on experience on tools like Orbit, Thomson Innovation is a must. - Must be a team player with the ability to support cross functional teams located across the globe. Must be able to strive for excellence while working in a fast paced environment. Software Skills: - Orbit / Thomson Innovation - Google Patent - Advanced Excel charts and Macros - BI Software exposure - Should be familiar and capable to work with MS office, MS project. Key Interfaces - Program Manager Technology Processes and Analysis - Technology Analysis team. Qualifications and Experience: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M. Tech/PhD (Computer Science, Electronics &amp; Communication, IT Engineering) with minimum 5 years of experience on Technology Analysis / IP Domain for Technology Analyst- IOT. Other Requirements: - Strong Analytical skills - Very good technical writing/documentation skills with excellent skills in English grammar and sentence construction. - Good communication and presentation skills. Essential functions: - Patent Validation/ invalidation Search - Patent Analysis - Perform Technology Analysis / Technology Trend studies. - Perform Competition Analysis. - Perform Portfolio analysis. - Create charts and reports on the studies performed. - To follow standard project management processes and ensure quality delivery on time and customer satisfaction. - Communicate progress and status of projects to the stakeholders as per the communication management plan. - An excellent work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Be an excellent team player. - Position title will be given based on the experience and work capability of the selected candidate.
