Position Requirements:

Technical Project Manager with an engineering degree from tier-1 or 2 institute and 5+ years experience in direct project management roles.

Essential functions:

- Familiarity with stage gate processes in New Product Development in Manufacturing Industry.

- Conversant with managing cross-functional teams with technical members across different geographies.

- Able to lead multiple technical projects with organizational excellence and urgency.

- Evaluation of scope requirements.

- Project/resource planning.

- Project reporting (written and verbal).

- Proactive Risk identification, analysis, mitigation planning, and escalation (as required).

- Ability to identify and implement change control processes.

- Ability to define and handle multiple management plans.

- Project monitoring and controlling capability.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to organize and motivate a team and the related project documentation.

- Ability to contribute towards continuous improvement processes.

- High level understanding of quality assurance processes.

- Lead/mentor/and drive a project with a sense of urgency.

- Excellent speaking/conversational skills; able to present to leadership.

- Excellent written communication skills (general business and technical).

- Proven background in managing projects across a spectrum of global cross-functional stakeholders.

- Strong work ethic, proactive and assertive, able to - get things done- with minimal supervision.

Software Skills:

- Project Management tool/s (MS Project, SmartSheet, Basecamp, Clarizen,- etc).

- MS Office tools.

- SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

- ePDM - PLM Environments.

- Trello, Jira.

Added Advantage:

- Work history and/or experience includes consumer product design, development, and manufacturing.

- Experience in agile software development and cloud-based iOS & Android applications.

- Exposure to database platforms, CAD tools.

- PMP Certification.

- Having previously worked in any PMO.

- Strong Problem solving skills.

Qualifications:

- BTech / M Tech or equivalent / MBA with engineering background preferred.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Position title will be given based on the experience and work capability/exposure of the selected candidate.
