This - Product Management- professional should be able to develop product ranges by identifying potential customer needs; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications.  Position Description :  REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:  - Experience 6- 8 years in solutions selling  - MBA in Sales/ Marketing (preferred)  - Excellent communication and presentation skills  - Strong Negotiation & Influencing Skills  - Excellent Relationship building skills  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY :  - Determines customers & needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.  - Strategic and tactical planning based on data analysis, competitive analysis, research, customer feedback and organizational strategy  - Assesses market competition by comparing the company product to competitors & products.  - Obtains product market share by working with sales team to develop product sales strategies.  - Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field sales people and evaluating sales call results.  - Deliver product demo & and build product image for prospective customers.  - Conduct and support onboarding of customer through account setup and product training.  - Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.  - Track promotional and marketing activities for the defined territory.  - Assesses market competition by comparing the company & product to competitors products.  - Plan and execute a customer retention and product increased usage activities.  - Interact with stakeholders in other functions like academics, finance, marketing, sales, operations, customer support etc. and Help in tracking product implementations, invoicing and necessary paper work.  - Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.  - Monitor sales targets for the territory that the incumbent would be responsible for and monitor the Day to day activities of the sales team in the territory.  - Bridge the gap between sales and product management team through regular communications with the sales team in the defined territory.  - Identify knowledge Gap's and conduct Product training for the sales team to ensure correct representation of products to end customers.  - Tracking client payments with the sales team.
