- The Higher Education International Product Marketing team provides high quality product training, competitor insight and actionable assets and tools to inform and support go-to-market teams across the world.
- We're seeking Product Marketing Executive support to enable our plans for growth across Science, Business and Professional Education, working alongside our International Product Management and Product Marketing team.
- The role is full of variety, requiring a solid marketing skill base but with lots of room to flourish and develop your career. Working within a highly energised team, this position will have lots of contact with go-to-market teams across the world and the ability to support our colleagues to delight customers through sales and marketing channels.
Our Product Marketing Executive will be responsible for:
- Experience : 2 to 5 years
- This is an Individual Contributor Role
- Developing specialist knowledge in a discipline area of international importance for our Higher Education business and using that knowledge to develop competitor analysis, tools to enable sales teams and marketing assets
- Establishing strong relationships with International Go-To-Market teams and an awareness of regional trends, needs and opportunities that relate to area of specialism
- Undertaking small research projects to continually refresh team's knowledge of market dynamics
- Undertaking the planning and production of a range of sales and marketing assets that will enable regional teams to explain the value of Pearson products and services clearly and compellingly
- Developing presentation materials, assisting in delivering training sessions, always with a focus on maximising engagement and retention of information delivered
- Managing documentation, tools and assets effectively so they can be readily accessed by colleagues for easy use and application.
- Leading on specific projects to meet business needs
Desirable skills and experience for this role include:
- Strong organisation skills and a good eye for detail
- Curious mindset with an eagerness to make connections in your work to help drive continuous improvement
- Some experience in conducting research and writing short reports
- Comfort in using technology (design packages, Google Analytics, Microsoft suite) and demonstrating technology products to colleagues, once necessary training undertaken
- Strong command of written English, persuasive writing skills and an understanding of the importance of SEO as it relates to writing in an online medium
- Commercially astute and empathetic, with the ability to consider motivations from different functions within a go-to-market team
- Confident communicator and presenter, able to deliver messages clearly, whether written or verbally
- Able to manage multiple complex projects at once, with the support of team members
