Job Summary As a Communications Executive, you will help build Pearson India's public recognition and profile and assist with the delivery of company's Marketing, PR & Corporate Affairs strategy. This is an exciting and varied role with lots of room for creativity. During the job, you will gain a first-hand experience of working in a consumer-centric, leading educational company, drive the PR charter, support overall brand and social media marketing efforts, and manage on-ground execution with both, external and internal stakeholders. We are looking for someone who understands/is enthusiastic about marketing, communications, is an outstanding writer and has a great knack for storytelling. Responsibilities - - Create and edit engaging content for various channels and proactively pitch story ideas, public relations opportunities, and fresh content/concepts to further engage social media channels. - Liaising with internal stakeholders, working closely with HR and Senior Leadership team to create key employee communications, engagement initiatives, change communications, company blogs etc. - Prepare briefing books/documents for executive spokespeople, press releases, media responses, by-line articles, newsletter, and website blogs for the brand. - Help the brand amplify its presence on various digital and social media platforms, develop thought leadership strategy for LinkedIn, regularly identify and reach out to relevant influencers/industry leaders/bloggers for digital PR activities and engagement. - Support in the planning, development & implementation of overall brand marketing strategy, liaising with creative agency for collateral development, guiding creative direction for all advertising & public facing communications, ORM and handling social media campaigns. - Providing similar support for external and internal communications for Middle East market. - Support in Campus Ambassador program management What you should have: We're looking for a person with a hustler mindset, who is curious, eager to learn new things, with a passion for innovation, and work to be a little better every single day. We're looking for someone dynamic with below qualities in generous quantities to perform well in this role - - Bachelor's/Post Graduate degree in English Literature, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Excellent content writer who has a knack for writing blogs, articles and has a deep research mindset to support PR and Marketing function. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Advanced MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. - Attention to detail, strong intent, and ability to keep yourself updated on developments in the education ecosystem by following all forms of media and keeping ear close to the ground. - Excellent English with exemplary verbal and written communication skills. Experience - 3-4 years of experience as a communication professional in a similar role.
