Job Title: Director - Risk and Internal Controls Location - Gurgaon Job Overview: - The role of Director Risk and Internal Controls will be responsible for strategic risk based internal control plan and for the risk management operations of the company. Responsibilities include providing reasonable assurance on the effectiveness of the organizationâ€™s risk management and the strength of internal controls. The position assesses organization-wide assessment of risks, compliance with internal policies and procedures, laws and regulations, contractual terms and conditions and efficiency of operations. Responsibilities and Duties: - Identify key areas of risk and potential vulnerabilities within the Company and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks. - Strong ERM, IT risk management and tech related Internal control. - Good understanding of software engineering lifecycle and experience in auditing a software engineering team/software engineering processes - Develop risk based Internal Controls Plan in line with India Internal Controls and Audit Policy for approval by the Risk Assessment Committee. - Create an integrated risk framework for the entire organization and assess risk. - Design Internal Controls Review Procedures and Work Program. - Manage and carry out all aspects of internal controls reviews focusing on end to end business processes. - Lead walkthroughs to be conducted by the Risk and Internal controls team, assess the internal control environment and supervise controls and substantive testing. - Ensure methodical documentation of work plans, testing results, conclusions and recommendations. Ensure follow up on findings and corrective actions - Take ownership and conduct periodic monitoring (continuous business monitoring) of risk areas to identify emerging risks and trends and develop effective Senior Line Management relationships during this process. - Provide technical assistance with investigations, special audits, and provide subject-matter expertise as needed. - Regularly track Early Warning Signals and report to the senior management - Conducting quarterly Risk Assessment Committee meetings Qualification and Key Skills: - Post Graduate or higher degree with 12-15 years of experience in enterprise/technical/ IT risk, fraud, audit, financial &amp; operational processes and compliance. - Previous experience from Banking, Fintech or large scale e-commerce industry along with experience in product-driven tech or Big 4 companies - Proven track record of adding value through recommending and driving change improvements. - Working knowledge of the complexities of a global company and ability to work within a matrix environment - Proven ability to work well with functional leaders, leveraging strong intellectual, conceptual and analytical skills
