To make this happen, Product Managers on our team not only fret about our product strategy (what should be build and for whom) but also on every minor detail (why is the splash screen around for 0.25 seconds longer than necessary). They- re the catalysts of all that we stand for - which is to build trust and to deliver the best experience for our users. Our belief is that there are Product Managers, and then there are Product Managers. If you are a product manager in our team, you love technology, obsess about your product and would probably be diagnosed as a borderline obsessive compulsive disorder patient. Your friends think of you as having an addiction to your gadgets and secretly envy you for all the stuff you know about every new product before anyone else. You are also known for strong opinions on different products; you scorn at the ones you dislike and can't stop talking about those you love. He/ She will be: - Own the product strategy; Understand customer requirements, market gaps/ need gaps and drive release-level feature choices. - Connect activities and deliverables to business outcomes. Should have the ability to define economic rationale for every major effort and translate into metrics. - Should be highly granular & hands-on. Constantly test his own products, create edge cases and if required should have the ability to write and define product specs from scratch. - Have the ability to be able to work with complex cross functional teams/ should be able to influence cross functional teams: Engineers, Architects, category, business & finance. - Should have the experience of managing healthy conflicts and drive people towards the customer goals and organization priorities. - Should be data obsessed. Derive insights from data and use the same for product improvements and iterations. Also educate cross functional teams with actionable derived from deep data insights. - Must aggressively defend a good strategy against random changes, fads and single-customer escalations. He or she must push to allocate technical resources strategically among products. - Integrate usability studies, market analysis, CST use-cases, NPS related data into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and execute product specs for further execution. - Design and execute a continuous testing plan for important end-to-end flows working hand in hand with QA team to deliver excellent experience. - Desired Skills : - Passionate about building world class products on the web / mobile - Work experience in the internet / eCommerce industry is preferred - Good Technical - Understanding will be preferred.
