Paytm is seeking a candidature of an effective & efficient individual who would be aligned with the central Litigation team and will handle east India Litigation, LEA matters and day to day operation related to Legal effectively, for the entire OCL group. He / she will remain responsible for handling internal audit queries related to Litigation data / statistics as well. This position reports to the General Manager - Litigation and would be based at Kolkata office. JOB DESCRIPTION PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Litigation Management and control 2. Good legal Knowledge 3. Drafting of legal notices, written statement, replies, representations, presentations, etc 4. Legal Advice on day to day operation 5. Effectively Handling Police complaints/notices/letters 6. Court appearance on behalf of Company 7. Appearing before LEA on behalf of the Company 8. Managing external counsel 9. Risk management 10. Coordinating and dealing with various authorities 11. Coordination with cross functional teams for collation of data. 12. Legal research and miscellaneous legal work 13. Coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies J) Good Liaison skill Qualifications & Experience: - Candidate must hold a degree of LLB with 10-12 years of experience in similar role - Strong communication skills and ability to work within the team. - Strong assertive personality. - Ability to coordinate with LEA and different authorities in Eastern geographical locations. - Proven ability to resolve sensitive matters & sensitivity towards the laid down TAT & compliance adherence.
