Paytm - Category/Business Head - IIM/MDI/ISB/FMS

Job Description

Paytm travel is looking for self-driven & energetic business leaders with a strong bias for action to take the travel business to the next level. As a Business Head, you would be expected to own end to end responsibility for a travel category like bus, hotels ranging from P&L Management, Demand Generation, Growth Marketing, Business Development to defining the business & product roadmaps.

Roles & Responsibilities

P&L Management

- Manage the top-line and bottom-line targets of the business as per AOP.

- Consistently drive higher revenues for the Business through commission enhancement, cross-sell, upsell.

Demand Generation

- Lead the growth strategy of the business to deliver long term growth & user retention.

- Drive traffic to the business in a sustainable manner and own a conversion improvement charter.

- Plan sales & marketing activation for the business.

Customer Focus

- Always keep the customer first in our approach and try to come up with strategies to boost customer retention through better customer experience

Product Roadmap

- Define long term/ short term requirements for the product roadmap in line with business goals & priorities

Business Development

- Own the business development and account management for the business across organised and unorganized suppliers

- Plan the targets for the business development team along with regular checkpoints to ensure achievement

- Ensure Rate, Inventory and Commission parity is maintained for all partners.

Desired Skill

- 6-8 years of Relevant experience in Consumer internet industry in similar roles across P&L management and Business Development

- MBA from Tier 1 Business school

- Immense resolve to achieve ambitious targets

- Prior experience of leading large teams

- High attention to detail

- Must be data driven with strong problem solving and analytical skills

- High degree of ownership in taking things to completion

- Ability to multitask and work on diverse range of requirements

- Excellent communication skills with ability to handle complex negotiations

- Prior experience in Travel industry is a plus
