Role Name - Catalog Head Production Role Type - Mid-Senior Management Role - This position is responsible for leading and managing the Catalog team to timely expand site catalog, optimise the existing one and maximize customer experience. The person is responsible for creating, managing and constantly improving processes and work-flows for optimal output. Key Responsibilities - Manage and lead the catalog team - Manage day-to-day operations of Catalog team like new content upload, QC, photo-shoots and Inventory management - Ensuring timely delivery of the cataloging asks in terms of new ingestion and improvement in existing listings and plan team through-put accordingly - Build and streamline existing cataloging SOPs for process efficiency improvements - Ability to innovate & build best practices (Do-It-Yourself Flows, etc.) with an eye on speed and cost of cataloging - Identifying product gaps in the system and developing a product road-map for the cataloging function for product design and implementation in coordination with product and tech teams - Working closely with the categories and other operation functions to ensure seamless and agile cataloging operation with all prioritised asks (dedicated handling of cataloging requests for newly created categories, etc.) in terms of catalog addressed timely - Identifying and shortlisting outsourcing partners for outsourcing the catalog requirements as part of the strategy. - Conduct market research in terms of cataloguing standards across competition - People/ Learning & Growth - A team leader with excellent communication, presentation capabilities - Conduct performance management process for the entire team Competencies - Business, Operations and Product knowledge of different cataloging processes, content life-cycle, new content ingestion work-flows and systems/ product around listing sheets, visual content (videos and images), content QC, brand authorisations and cataloging policies - Highly skilled in data analysis and interpretation - Must be proficient in Business process re-engineering and optimization - Must be comfortable with statistical concepts related to Quality - Must be comfortable with advanced MS - Excel tools - Generic Competencies - High operational orientation and willingness to - work on the floor- always and solve problems immediately - Strong team-building skills, counseling skills and conflict management skills Required Academics and Experience - Qualification - Post Graduate with a decent pedigree - Work Experience - 6-8+ years of experience with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
