- Establish the Zonal Business Development function working closely with the Business Head by setting the company's Zonal business development vision, mission, goals, strategies and deliverable based on the company's objectives and budget.

- Create GTM plan and drive execution for onboarding new and managing relationships with existing merchant partners ranging from individuals stores to regional chains.

- Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the company.

- Draw up local plans post study of market size of assigned geography, and thereby enable best suited distribution models with right span and spread. Drive Pilots to test hypothesis and suggest scalable solutions to improve efficiency.

- Analyse changing market trends and local competition to study changes in their local or broader strategy and drive counterstrategies.

- Implement processes and metrics for tracking progress and setup review mechanisms with all the stakeholders.

- Drive product / process innovations through available data points, market observation and reporting of merchant and customer behavior to modify and evolve regional plans and execution strategy, along with driving product improvements.

- Partner with cross functional teams like Marketing, Sales Capability and HR to ensure process gaps are plugged and team is enabled with appropriate levels of market collaterals, headcount, onboarding experience, sales capability building inputs.

- Recruiting and Retaining high performers.

- Ensuring highest levels of employee relationship, motivation & engagement to drive results & high levels of employee satisfaction and drive employee development.

- Identifying the need of employee training and driving the training program.
