Employment Type : Full Time
Reports To : People Operations Lead
Location : Bangalore - Koramangala
Experience : 8 - 10 yrs. of experience
- Scope: A smart candidate who has analytical and grasping ability. Someone with good communication skills, good energy levels, passion to take challenges and be able to set & achieve high standards in deliverables. The person will be responsible for working in end to end payroll for European countries.
Detailed roles & responsibilities :
Payroll Processing:
- Managing end to end payroll for European countries along with the UK Payroll.
- Payroll data preparation, collecting payroll inputs from various stakeholders, sending payroll inputs to payroll providers.
- Manage and process multi-country payroll operations which include expat and shadow payrolls.
- Check and reconcile payroll reports verifying monthly compensation, allowances and deductions and any other related items.
- Ensuring payroll controls and other internal controls are in place to ensure 100% accuracy in the deliverables.
- Should have knowledge in time & attendance, validating the time card reports and sharing the inputs to payroll partners.
- Calculating and processing statutory leave such as Maternity pay, Paternity pay, Sick pay, Adoption Pay etc.. and ensure that payouts are processed as per the policies .
- Should have knowledge of European countries' taxations.
- Managing the monthly MIS reports for various countries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage relationships with country payroll partners to ensure timely and accurate payments, making recommendations for and implementing process improvements.
- Deal effectively and professionally with issues, queries, complaints and ensure that queries are dealt promptly.
- Payroll vendor transition will be an added advantage.
- Support payroll transition for different countries.
Compliance:
- Should be aware of the European countries' labour laws related to payroll.
- Manage country's statutory payments in a timely manner in coordination with Finance/Payroll Partner and other key stakeholders.
- Responsible for the internal and external audits for European countries.
- Should have knowledge of European countries Social Security funds.
Other requirements:
- Should have good communication skills.
- Should possess a high level of integrity considering the kind of data handled.
- Should be well versed with MS Excel, Google Spreadsheets.
- Should be conversant with payroll management and have an eye for detail
- Should be aware of the GDPR compliance
- Should be aware of Workday
- European languages like Spanish or German will be value-added
