Pharma Patent Attorney / Pharma IP Specialist Job Description Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Prefer a Master's degree. Professional experience 1. Certified as a Registered Indian Patent Agent. 2. Has at least 2 years of experience handling patent prosecution of Indian patent applications and communicating directly with the Indian Patent Office. Some experience handling Oral Hearings at the Indian Patent Office is highly desirable. 3. Has experience handling Worldwide patent prosecution such as office actions from China, Japan, Australis, etc. 4. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in conducting novelty searches and Freedom of Operation searches. Good knowledge and experience applying IP aspects related to patentability and Freedom of Operation. 5. Experienced in conducting peptide and nucleotide sequence searches using tools like BLAST, DGENE, or other relevant search tools.
