About PashuPal :

At PashuPal, we are building a comprehensive solution for over 70mn Indian dairy farmers, helping them enhance their livelihood.

We help dairy farmers :

- buy the right cattle at the right price

- get access to affordable finance for it

- with quality nutritional care for their cattle

- with access to latest technology and best practices in dairy farming

Our founder, Anish, has built the company on 4+ years of experience in the Indian rural sector, with two previous successful startup stints.

We are all animal-lovers, and we love what we are doing.

Your role :

- If we had to come up with a one-line description of what we expect, there is none. There is no set predecessor, and you're free to write and tweak your own job description as an EIR.

- For further clarity, we want people who are passionate about impact, about technology, and about entrepreneurship; and how the hybrid of these can revolutionize the lives of Indian dairy farmers.

- Being an EIR, you will be an integral member to our 0 to 1 journey, directly working with the founder. This entails

- Leading and growing new business verticals

- Conceptualize right products for the dynamic and largely unorganised market

- Strategize & execute various key initiatives across the company

- Ability to work as a one (wo)man army and also build your own team from scratch

- Establishing an innovative and appreciative work culture

- Act as an inter-departmental liaison and ensure smooth working

There is no particular role we want you to take, but multiple roles which you can take.

You can work from the mountains, the beaches or your bed; as long as your entrepreneurial juices are flowing and your growth contributes to our growth.

Your fit :

Feel free to apply, if you are :

- Already working in an agritech startup or aware of the industry dynamics

- Experienced in either of the departments- product, strategy, operations, growth

- Willing to act as the vice-captain of the team

- Willing to engage in mutual exchange of knowledge with the team (nobody likes a know-it-all)

Some things which can earn you brownie points- successfully failed/succeeded at any venture in life (we have massive respect for the entrepreneurial spirit), passionate about creating an impact and discuss philosophy with Anish every now and then.

What to expect from a 'job' at PashuPal :

First, don't think of it as a job. We don't believe in corporate lingos or a 9to5 schedule. You work as per your own schedule, when you are at your most productive self. But considering the team size of an early-stage startup, you might be required to put in a bit of an extra-effort, and keep transitioning between a morning-person to a night-owl.

Second, for us, person-organization fit is more important than person-job fit. We have put equal effort into building an open and easy-to-go culture. Our team is precious, and we do go to the extent of surprising them every now and then.

Third, be accountable. While you get full freedom to take on problems and set your personal goals, we expect you to take ownership of the same. You need to balance the over-the-top appreciations and the constructive criticism you get. We need you to take initiatives, and not rely on us for an everyday to-do list.

Lastly, expect the unexpected. We are learning, growing and adapting. We don't have a blueprint to success, but we definitely aim for the stars. We want the dreamers, and not someone who's risk-averse.
