3. JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

AHI is working on a project for the creation of a "Global Learning Collaborative for Health Systems Resilience," a knowledge-sharing collaborative, which shall be global, cross-disciplinary, and multi-sectoral in the thematic areas of Surveillance, Preparedness, Rapid Response and Resilience.

Reporting to the Lead, Health Systems Advisory Services for South Asia, the Partnerships & Engagement Manager shall lead network management of members in South Asia, Middle East and Africa. S/he shall identify relevant members/ institutions for the project and build a compelling case as to why they need to join the collaborative.

Key Job Responsibilities:

(1) Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, facilitating the learning management of members and their active engagement with workplans;

(2) Identification of potential donors for the program, as a part of the network management and outreach plan. Build and nurture relationships with the executive and coordinate operations with central/ state government agencies, policy makers, bilateral/ multilateral agencies, large corporations focused on CSR, as well as donors and philanthropies in the ecosystem;

(3) Undertake market research and analysis, donor/ partner mapping, assessment of government partnerships (center/ state), and synthesize qualitative and quantitative trends to identify growth opportunities in thematic segments of the healthcare marketplace and emerging technology areas to drive membership and network management.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications

Masters or advanced degrees in Healthcare, Social Sciences, Communications, or equivalent.

Experience

(1) Minimum five to seven years' experience in business development in the public health or development sector, with involvement in building networks (or tie-ups) of active members, for a collaborative project/ program/ institution;

(2) Experience of working in healthcare network management/ business development, will be preferred.

(3) Strong understanding of the healthcare sector in India and program level interventions, especially in the public health domain;

(4) Understanding of healthcare in neighbouring regions of India, is desirable.

Skills and Competencies

(1) Proven competencies in relationship management, CXO level customer-facing skills, including evidence of conflict resolution abilities and of developing long-lasting relations with teams, donors, and partners;

(2) Excellent written (especially proposal writing) and oral communication skills, including the creation of compelling presentations.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

6. NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT:

The selected candidate shall be offered a two-year contract, with possibility of extension, based on continued availability of funding and performance.
