Partner/Manager - Sales - TISS/XLRI/SCHRMD/NMIMS (5-10 yrs)
Partner Manager (OEM OR SI EXP/SALES)
Role and Responsibility :
- Ensure that named list of Partners understand the value proposition, have a clear place for the organization within their portfolio and are motivated to sell organization licenses and maintenance
- Attain commitment and buy in from all levels within the Partner
- Build business plans to complement the Partners direction and mutual growth plans
- Manage relationships within organization and the Partner to ensure all relevant people are involved (Marketing, Sales Engineers, Territory Managers) for completion of the points above
- Be fully conversant in the organization messaging and be able to articulate and present this at all levels whether one 2 one or within a seminar environment
- Train Partner sales teams and be fully conversant on current broad and vertical messaging across the portfolio
- Develop / roll out new and / or existing programs to Partners to create new opportunities
- Reinforce the Partner program criteria and drive all Partners to attain the skills levels required and beyond
- Maintain a sales forecast across your Partners and have deal visibility of all unmanaged opportunities
- Ensure that Partners have full understanding of operations with organization and all adhere to process / deal registration / NSP / POS requirements
Educational Background and Experience :
- Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in computer software/science or IT from Premium B school a plus
- 5+ years of experience in the channel business
- Good understanding of India's Enterprise IT landscape and channel ecosystem. Security and/or SaaS experience are highly preferred
- Proven track record in achieving & over-achieving targets within an IT Sales capacity, preferably selling Software Solutions.
- Ability to cultivate relationships internally, externally, and across teams, as well as the ability to align and bring stakeholders together to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
- Experience engaging partners with the company, brand, and technology through education and programs and initiatives
- Good energy level and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic & changing multinational corporation environment
- Willingness to travel, averaging 20% of time
- Only OEM experience or large local SI background will be considered
- Engineering background from Tier 1 and 2 premier colleges. . Cybersecurity and SaaS exp is preferred
