About the Client / Practice

Our client, one of the 'Big 4' consulting firms, has a leading risk advisory practice (RAP) which provides a broad array of services that allows clients around the world to better measure manage and control risk to enhance the reliability of systems and processes throughout the enterprise.

The RAP operates under three core platforms including management assurance, governance risk, & regulatory, and cyber risk. These platforms contain numerous competencies and services around capital markets, control assurance, internal audit, contractual exposure, insurance claims, third-party assurance among others. RAP covers a wide spectrum of industries. It provides a wide spectrum of solutions for clients in all aspects related to strategic, business, operational, financial and regulatory risks.

About the Position:

- Partner - Cyber Risk; to build and expand the breadth and scope of the client's advisory services in Cyber security.

- Areas of focus typically involve Cyber Risk Strategy, Cyber security, Identity & Access Management, Privacy and Information Protection, Resilience, Cyber Analytics, and Managed Security Services.

- The client intends to build a significant IT Risk presence in India by leveraging its strong global reputation and existing client relationships. The primary target client base will be large multinational and national organisations.

A key aspect of the role is to aid in the profitable growth of the Cyber Risk practice in India.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Client: To lead key client relationships and provide insight/advice on engagement specific matters to C-level executives as well as the Board. Leverage the client's internal network as well as his / her own existing professional network to build and sustain a strong client base. Create opportunities to upsell as well as to create innovative service offerings for target clients. This aspect of the role would be associated with a sales target.

- Delivery: To champion technical expertise and provide robust advice to clients, manage conflicts and create processes to improve service delivery efficiency to clients. This aspect of the role would be associated with a revenue target.

- Collaboration: To keep up to date with global, national and regional developments in the risk space. Also acts as an ambassador of the firm and actively seeks opportunities for the wider firm. This aspect of the role would be associated with a cross sales target.

- Leading people: To contribute to the identification, development and management of talent for the practice. To apply best practice in applying their area of expertise across the business through well-developed internal networks. Be a role model for individuals in the practice and create and contribute in practice management initiatives. Champion learning opportunities for the team.

Key Requirements:

- Must be a MBA/CA from a reputed institute with a total experience of at least 15 years.

The ideal candidate should possess the following key requirements:

- Should have experience (at least 5 years) in selling, leading and delivering IT Risk solutions.

- Should have the stature and the ability to interact at CEO/CXO/Board level.

- Should have strong relationships with CXO level executives at major national or multinational organisations.

- Proven people management capability and leadership skills.

- An ability to drive informed decisions in a decisive manner, being commercially savvy and transparent at all times.

- Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to lead from the front and should have operational excellence.

- Should have good communications skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, coupled with a hands-on, involved and visible leadership approach.

- Should have strong ethical values and operate with the highest levels of integrity in the marketplace.

- Our client is keen to consider existing partners in Cyber risk advisory functions, and also ADs / Directors for a vertical move, should the applicant meet the above requirement checklist
