Partner - Corporate Arbitration - Law Firm - LLB (10-25 yrs)

Job Responsibilities:

Case Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of corporate arbitration cases, including disputes related to mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, contractual disputes, and other corporate matters

Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and actively seek opportunities to expand our client base in the corporate arbitration field

Legal Strategy: Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients, including assessment of potential risks, negotiation strategies, and settlement options

Team Leadership: Lead a team of attorneys and legal professionals in the corporate arbitration practice area, providing mentorship, training, and guidance

Business Development: Contribute to the development of the firm's corporate arbitration practice by identifying new business opportunities, participating in marketing efforts, and representing the firm at industry events

Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research and analysis to support arbitration cases, staying up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends

Advocacy: Act as lead counsel in arbitration proceedings, representing clients effectively and advocating for their interests

Job Requirements:

Education:


- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB).


- A master's degree would be an added advantage

- Minimum 10 years of experience practicing law

- Experience in corporate arbitration, with a proven track record of handling complex cases

- Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills

- Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Client-focused approach and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

- Business development acumen with a demonstrated ability to attract and retain clients

- Ethical and professional conduct with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal practice
