Paradise Food Court - Manager - Operations (12-15 yrs)

Role Objective : Oversee store operations of the region; Provide the Area Coaches, Restaurant managers with oversight, guidance, and support to maximize the assets value for company, exceed guest expectations and create a work environment with high level of associate engagement that supports each individual growth and development in the journey to reach his/her full potential.


Experience Band : 12-15 years .


Industry Interface : Hotels / Hospitality preferred , Contemporary Industries like Retail, BFSI, Facilities Management would be good


Span of Control : Assigned Region/Area/channel


Reports To : Head - Operations


Aligns With : Restaurant Managers, Function Heads of all supporting functions like Finance & Accounts, Purchase, Stores, IT and HR.


Responsibilities & Deliverables :


- Provide leadership in the development and execution of business strategies for the stores, including the development of realistic and attainable strategic business plan that defines operational goals which will maximize profitability of the portfolio operations.


- Set expectations and clarity with all stores on goals and act as liaison between senior management and store team to ensure the goals and strategies are aligned and well executed.


- Effectively present data, initiatives and innovative ideas on behalf of the portfolio to support the business strategies.


- Oversee the annual business plan process, provide guidance and insight during planning, review and approve all components, marketing, associate engagement, revenue, expenses, capital planning etc.


- Ensure the training and processes are in place to meet brand standards and which will preserve the asset, including preventive maintenance and ensuring cleanliness of all areas of the property.


- Provides oversight to store team on prioritizing focused activities to drive results and ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, payroll control and other management expenses.


- Ensure all operations have standard operating procedures (SOPS) and training to comply with all laws applicable to business operations.


- Work with corporate support teams to drive revenue in all areas of the business.


- Set the vision and clear expectations for the properties to achieve guest satisfaction scores and brand quality assurance.


- Ensure training is delivered which effectively empowers associates to problem solve and creates a warm welcoming environment throughout the stores.


- Review and provide guidance on associate engagement action plans.


-Support the coaching and counselling process and promote mentoring and development of talent the teams.


- Provide constructive feedback to Area coaches.


- Collaboration with HR and training team to have a strong pipeline of people bench to support business.


- Lead by example and build a culture across the stores with guiding principles as foundation.


- Work closely with BD development team to grow and support the business expansion.


- Ownership mindset of owning and execution AOP and Executing monthly revenue and driving P&L.


Job Requirements :


- Strong business and financial acumen.


- Desire to collaborate and ability to persuade.


- Well-developed presentation skills, analytical abilities and written and verbal skills.


- Self-motivated, proven ability to drive results through collaboration with others.


- Ability to interface across all support functions, revenue management, finance, sales, marketing, risk management, legal and human resources.


- Thorough understanding of financial statements, budgets, payroll process and cost inventory control.


- Knowledge of food and beverage, restaurant operations and project management.


- Degree in hospitality and business administration is preferred.


- Travel is typically extensive.
