Pantomath Capital Advisors - Manager - Investment Banking (2-5 yrs)
- Comprehensive analysis of companies and industries - researching industry and market data, reading annual reports, investor presentations, research & credit rating reports, regulations, etc
- Lead new deal transactions from commercial diligence through to legal negotiation and closing, coordinating with external and internal stakeholders including the founders, GPs, and transaction lawyers.
- In-depth review of a company's financial information e.g. analysis of annual reports, quarterly statements, business plans, financial ratios, etc to determine how an organization has performed on an absolute basis and vs peers
- Preparation of financial models, comparable analysis, valuation analysis
- Transaction closure: Working with legal firms to make sure that the commercial understanding is fully covered and the Funds interests are protected.
- Assist in due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of transactions.
The following qualifications are essential:
- 2-5 years of experience in venture capital fund, investment banking, corporate strategy, private equity funds or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field required; MBA/CA/CFA
- Excellent front end exposure to participate in the entire M&A or PE deal cycle from pitching, to preparing financial models, business plans, IM, term sheet and transaction documentation
- Fundamental understanding of accounting, finance ability to build financial models.
- Familiarity with business valuation techniques
