Paid Social Manager - Education (5-10 yrs)

ROLE SUMMARY

The Paid Social Manager will work closely with all the brand teams to set and deliver paid social advertising strategies that align closely with the key social and business objectives.

The role will also include hands on planning, buying and strategy of paid social accounts. You will be constantly be thinking outside the box, to come up with imaginative ways to approach challenge.

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create paid social strategies based on brand business goals & day to day management of the their paid social campaigns from start to finish

- Planning, analysing, optimising and reporting across all paid social platforms but not restricted to Facebook, Twitter & Linkedin, Quora, Tiktok, etc

- Keep up to date with new platforms and initiatives to be an industry expert and adviser to the team and brand leaders

- Set and meet relevant KPIs

- Place, test and continuously optimize client ad spends across social platforms

- Manage brands media budgets and partner with brand managers to ensure proper allocation of funds throughout the ad spend period

- Prepare and present advertising plans and results to brand leaders

- Work closely with graphics/copy-writing department to create advertising assets that meet brand needs, goals and platform specifications

- Attend, participate & lead weekly/monthly calls and brainstorming sessions

- Collaborate on brand teams editorial calendars to ensure coordination with the ad strategy

- Degree in a relevant subject or similar qualification

- Professional marketing qualification


Knowledge/Skills

- Genuine interest in social media including emerging platforms

- Strong writing and editing skills

- Customer service oriented

- Excellent organizational skills

- Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects

- Self-sufficient

- Ability to embrace and address unfolding needs

- Ability to communicate with clients and grow accounts

- Strategic thinker

- Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on data

- Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency with good Excel skills and knowledge of at least one third party bid management tool

- Diligence and close attention to detail

- Curiosity and willingness to delve into ads and make ongoing adjustments to improve results

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience managing paid social efforts and/or media buying, and strategy development

- A real social native, with great understanding of new paid social technologies

- The post holder may be asked to undertake different or additional duties in line with business requirements at the request of their line manager.
