OYO Rooms - Regional Business Analyst

1) Perform quantitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights and provide analytical, data-driven decision-making support for key projects

2) Work with various functional teams and own data-driven experimentation to improve visibility on efficiency and performance metrics

3) Fast learner : ability to learn and pick up a new language/tool/ platform quickly

Experience, Skills & Abilities :

1) Expert level proficiency in SQL and at least one of: R and Python

2) 1-3 years of relevant experience. Prior experience in start-ups if preferred - A hustler who is able to aggressively follow up, handle pressure and work rapidly evolving environments

3) Bachelors/Masters degree in Math, Statistics, Comp Science, Engineering, or any other technical field

4) Comfortable manipulating, transforming, and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources (databases and functional teams).

5) Experience in reporting and dashboards involving very large datasets and multiple data sources, with the ability to interpret data and produce meaningful insights.

6) Intermediate to advanced knowledge of machine learning, probability theory, statistics and algorithms
