This is a unique opportunity to have direct business impact through strategic growth of hotel-partners associated with OYO's platform in your city. This role calls for creative thinking & hustle, excellence in execution, ability to lead projects & initiatives, and solid communication to work jointly with your city team and functional teams to achieve your city's growth objectives.
You will play a critical role in achieving growth targets of the city, by executing on immediate and longer-term opportunities for bringing new partner properties to the platform. This will also need capacity for out-of-the-box thinking and innovations to keep identifying faster and more efficient ways to source partners.
Responsibilities:
- Work with your team and leadership to grow the overall funnel of Hotels in your city/hub through a keen understanding of local market nuances and anticipate future threats and opportunities.
- Continuous experimentation with onboarding funnels to increase conversions and widen top of funnel
- Optimize Hotel acquisition, both on spend and operations.Constantly look for new opportunities and move fast to execute on them.
- Lead a team of highly motivated Experts to maintain growth targets.
- Responsible for P&L driven decisions for the assigned area
- Identifying and finalizing new properties, and for maintaining relationship with all stakeholders to run these properties profitably.
- Responsible for end-to-end business development of the assigned area; includes planning and building short-term and long-term supply.
- Cross-functional approach through coordination with multiple teams.
- Creating a balance in inventory growth and demand to ensure optimization.
- Proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
Required Skills
- An attitude to ground your decision-making in data.
- A proactive nature; when you see an opportunity, you address it, not waiting for someone else to take initiative.
- A desire to learn and constantly improve; you're expected to take initiative and experiment with new processes or improve existing ones
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience in early-stage startup environments would be an advantage.
- Focused and possess sales mindset.
- Fluent communication and ability to manage situations on the ground.
- Intelligent, enthusiastic and self-motivation driven.
- Demonstrates high ethical values.
