OYO - Director - Procurement & Supply Chain Management

Role Overview:

The Director - Procurement & Supply Chain Management will lead Prism's end-to-end global procurement, sourcing, logistics, vendor management, and supply chain strategy. This role is responsible for building a cost-efficient, resilient, and scalable supply ecosystem aligned with Prism's long-term business and growth objectives.

This position transitions the function from operational leadership to a strategic, board-level supply chain role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement Leadership

- Define and execute short-term & long-term procurement strategy

- Lead make-vs-buy decisions, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiations

- Establish cost-reduction roadmaps and value-engineering initiatives

2. Supply Chain & Logistics Management:

- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations: planning, logistics, warehousing, inventory

- Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance across all projects

- Optimize working capital & inventory turns

3. Vendor & Supplier Ecosystem:

- Build and manage a robust supplier network (domestic & international)

- Lead vendor audits, qualification, performance scorecards & risk assessments

- Drive supplier development & strategic partnerships

4. Governance, Compliance & Risk:

Ensure compliance with:

- Company policies

- Statutory procurement laws

- Contractual & ethical sourcing standards

Create strong procurement governance frameworks

Build risk mitigation strategies for:

- Price volatility

- Supply disruptions

- Geo-political risks

5. Financial & Commercial Control

- Own procurement budgeting & forecasting

- Drive cost savings, margin protection & profitability

- Partner with Finance on cash flow & payment optimization

6. Digital Transformation

Lead implementation of:

- ERP procurement modules

- E-procurement systems

- Vendor portals & analytics dashboards

- Enable data-driven sourcing decisions

7. Team Leadership

Build and mentor:

- Category Heads

- Procurement Managers

- Supply Planners

Drive high-performance culture, accountability & execution excellence

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in:

Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations / Procurement / Business

- MBA or PGDM (Supply Chain / Operations / Finance) - Strongly preferred

-12-18+ years of progressive experience in:

- Strategic procurement

- Supply chain leadership

Project & contract management

- Proven experience managing:

- 500 Cr+ procurement budgets (or equivalent)

Core Competencies:

- Strategic sourcing & global vendor development

- Contract negotiation & commercial risk management

- Cost engineering & value optimization

- Supply chain digitization & ERP implementation

- Cross-functional leadership with Projects, Finance & Operations

- High-pressure decision-making & crisis management

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Procurement cost savings (% YoY)

- Vendor On-Time Delivery (OTIF %)

- Inventory turnover & working capital efficiency

- Contract compliance rate

- Supply chain risk incidents

- Digital adoption rate in procurement
