Presales Associate


As a pre-sales consultant, you'll work towards mapping customers' requirements, propose a commercially viable solution, and help close the opportunity. The role involves working closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches and helping them qualify and close sales opportunities. You'll be actively involved in the 'lead to closure' cycle for sales opportunities including preparing responses to RFPs/RFIs and managing vendor risk management processes. For vendor risk management, the role would involve collaborating with the risk team. Additionally, the role would entail supporting the demand generation processes for certain business lines and working closely with the demand generation team.

Function/Team Description :

- This is a new role within the pre-sales team at Oxane Partners to cater to the needs of the growing business. The pre-sales team is responsible for supporting the sales conversions by leading the process along with the sales team. This role sits within the growing sales and marketing team, reporting to the head of the function. The role will enable exposure across various facets of B2B pre-sales and sales processes.

Required Experience/ Skill Set :

- An ideal candidate would have an MBA degree from a top college with at least a year of industry experience

- Excellent oral communication and impeccable written communication skills

- A 'sharp eye' to build sophisticated sales deliverables with the ability to represent various concepts and ideas visually

- Collaborative attitude to work closely with cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, technology, product, and operations

- Attention to detail and a research-oriented approach to sales

- Self-driven to work in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Experience in pre-sales or business analysis in a B2B technology and financial services set-up or a strong desire to build a career in this area

- Strong commercial skills including an understanding of complex B2B sales cycles

- Ability to operate with minimal supervision and wide latitude for independent action

- Experience in working with European and US clients would be highly valued

- Prior experience working in BFSI, capital markets, alternative investments industry, or private markets would be highly valued
