Oval Observer Foundation - Commercial Manager

Commercial Manager, Oval Observer Foundation:

The Commercial Manager will work closely with the Director in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives targeted at expanding the Foundations- reach and base of operations. The defining feature of the Commercial Manager's role will be in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders including entities from Trade Organizations, Multilateral Institutions, Government, Non-Profit and Industry. This would involve boosting the Foundation's Membership drive by getting a diverse clientele for its membership panel. Additionally, the Commercial Manager is responsible for the execution of outreach related activities and for coordinating internally within the Organization.

Requirements:

The candidate should have demonstrable expertise in marketing strategy and ability to build long-term client network. Through his/her past work the candidate should have been fully or partially involved in devising marketing strategies aimed at building a vast clientele in their respective entities. Additionally, the candidate must have sufficient familiarity and understanding on matters of foreign policy, global trade and development and public policy, which would be paramount in driving the Foundation's membership process.

Key Criteria:

- Advanced Degree in Marketing/Business/Finance from a Leading Institution.

- 3+ Years of Work in Marketing/Consulting.

- Demonstrated ability to engage with key stakeholders to drive long-term relationships and membership.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and clearly with a high degree of professionalism

- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and lead teams.

- Demonstrated understanding of international affairs.

Circumstantial Overview:

Oval Observer Foundation is at the early-stages of its lifecycle. It is targeted to grow into a 30-member organization in London by Q2, 2015 with a sharp eye for emerging economies growth prospects. By entering the fold at these early stages, the candidate will have the opportunity to work very closely with the Director and expand the Organization's activities globally. The candidate is likely to develop a steep upward curve in professional growth through wide networks, international collaborations and in-depth strategy.
