Grocery is the biggest market in consumer goods, On avg. every household send 50% of their income to this sector. We are building a tech to solve the daily needs of households within few hours. They will able to access all the local market around them on just one click.

Founder:

Founder is an alumnus of Great Lakes Institute of Management. His love for technology and design has introduced him to the field of perfectionist and its application in real world. Now, he is excited to meet a COO who can be partner in crime and turn his research into working application.

Your position will be:

Chief Operation Officer/Co-Founder/Operations Head

Work experience:

4-10 years (Work experience from a startup is a plus)

Education qualification:

UG (must)/ PG (better)/Doctorate (Best) from IITs/IIITs/ BITS/NITs/IIMs

Abilities we are looking for:

- Operational Leadership: You should have the ability to lead the operational part of the startups and envision the operation as per founder's vision. You constantly keep yourself updated with all new trends, technologies and approaches that could make our operation process better. You should be able to develop team and nurture their talent while working towards startup goals. You should be able to organize yourself and team to complete the entire tasks at hand in timely and cost efficient manner without compromising the quality.

- Good Communications: You should have good written and verbal communication skills. You will be responsible to understand the domain requirements and work closely with the founder on product development. You should be able to generate thought leadership content that may help you position yourself and startup as operation leader. You must be able to prepare presentation for pitches or any speaking opportunities at different forums and influence people with our core mission.

- Entrepreneur Mindset: You should be problem solver, customer-centric, goal-oriented, positive thinker, flexible, all about action and team player who can work smartly to turn adversities into new opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Setting up all essential ingredients of e-commerce (marketplace model) business operations including lead/ enquiry/order management, warehousing, fulfillment, payments, customer service, deliveries services and others.

2. Leading Vendor Management, SCM, Logistics, Strategy and Process excellence programs

3. Set up all standard operating process required for smooth functioning of day-to-day activities.

4. Work with technology & IT team for setting up these systems & processes.

You will be a great match to our operational requirements if:

1. 2-8 years working experience in e-commerce/marketplace model of business in the order fulfillment and operations department.

2. Knowledge of logistics

3. Engineering/ MBA from a Tier-1 engineering/ business school

4. Ability to analyse data using excel and other tools

5. Prior experience in process design and operations implementation

6. Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English.

7. Strong motivation to join a start-up

Location: Mumbai

Start date: 1-2 Weeks
