Outreach Manager, South &amp; Central Asia - Higher Education (Not for Profit) POSITION SUMMARY : The Outreach Manager, South &amp; Central Asia will be responsible for leading the outreach, relationship development, and in-country support activities to drive partnerships with higher education institutions and K-12 schools in India and the broader South Asia region. This role will also inform all B2C and B2B marketing activities for India and the broader South Asia region. This critical position will lead CollegeBoard India's engagement with key higher education and K-12 stakeholders in India including universities, schools, school networks, school boards, education associations, and NGOs working in education to promote the College Board's new India Global Higher Education Alliance. They will: - Drive adoption of the College Board's India Global Higher Education Alliance through engagement with higher education institutions and K-12 schools in India - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders - Collect and share market intel to shape the initiative - Drive advocacy and support of College Board programs among influential universities, schools, and other key influencers in education - Promote and support the effective use of College Board's enrollment management resources to help Higher Education institutions achieve their admissions, recruitment, and/or enrollment goals - Coordinate key on-the-ground activities to support growth of the initiative - Extend College Board's relationships with K-12 schools and higher education institutions in the broader South Asia region to drive adoption and usage of College Board programs, especially SAT and Advanced Placement (AP). Key external stakeholders include university leaders and professionals involved in outreach, recruitment, admissions, and enrollment management &amp; policy; K-12 school leaders, administrators, counselors, and teachers; leaders within education network associations, among others. The role reports to Senior Director, South &amp; Central Asia. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop, support, and execute on strategic outreach plans to drive adoption of the College Board's India Global Higher Education Alliance. - Lead active outreach to Higher Ed influencers at the university or Higher Education system levels, to secure recognition and participation in College Board programs - Lead active outreach to Higher Ed influencers at the university or Higher Education system levels, to secure recognition and participation in College Board programs - Expertly articulate the value proposition of College Board programs in both public and private settings with university leaders and other Higher Ed influencers in India to strengthen College Board's brand among universities and drive favorable Higher Ed policies for CB Programs. - Assist with identifying potential vendors and/or partners to support the India Global Higher Education Alliance &amp; its initiatives - Collaborate closely with CollegeBoard India team, consultants and vendors supporting K-12 India initiatives to develop and execute on an outreach plan to promote College Board's programs and higher education engagement in India. - Manage marketing resources (internal and external) to build and execute on a comprehensive campaign to raise awareness and adoption of SAT in the context of the India Global Higher Education Alliance in India and the broader region. - Personally conduct/coordinate outreach to K-12 stakeholders and supervise staff responsible for K-12 outreach which includes the following responsibilities: - Develop, support, and execute on outreach and promotional plans to drive adoption of SAT within the context of the India Global Higher Education Alliance across India and the broader region to meet volume &amp; growth goals. - Manage accounts in the assigned regions (India, South Asia, Central Asia) by forecasting program volume and growth, preparing volume and growth activity reports, collecting and maintaining updated client information, and developing new contacts and relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and stakeholders. - Execute on all activities which will help meet volume and growth goals: meeting with school leaders and other influencers to provide information about College Board programs and services; maintaining records of contact and follow up; obtaining feedback from schools and other entities regarding programs and services; and conducting workshops, presentations, training, and program demonstrations as appropriate. - Develop and execute on programs to successfully deliver CollegeBoard India's signature events in India each year - Be the subject matter expert on the higher education landscape and trends in India and ensure the effective communication of all market-based trends with team members and College Board USA delegates. - Collaborate with relevant team members to communicate critical constituent requirements and develop solutions to address those requirements in the context of College Board programs and infrastructure. - Design and conduct relevant analyses to support effective outreach initiatives and present recommendations to leaders. - Conceive, develop supporting materials for, and effectively deliver impactful sessions at key Higher Education conferences in India and outside of India. - Build College Board's reputation and brand with higher education constituents in the region while balancing the sensitive nature of College Board programs in the political context. - Assist with resolution of escalated issues from higher education institutions and ensure appropriate response by College Board programs and functional units. - Maintain existing relationships and build new relationships with key decision-makers &amp; influencers in schools, school networks, and other educational partners, agencies, institutions, and players within the assigned regions with the express objective of growing adoption of College Board programs in a fiscally responsible manner. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: - A Bachelor's degree is required, an advanced degree in education is preferred - Minimum of 7 years of directly related progressively responsible work experience in a professional position in international business/marketing or international higher education within India. Higher education admissions or relationship development experience is a plus. Related Skills &amp; Other Requirements: - Strong understanding of the Indian academic system (secondary and tertiary) - Knowledge of the international/global education environment and trends, especially at the higher education level and as it relates to Indian universities - Knowledge of the K-12 education system in India - Ability to think creatively about fresh approaches to challenges - Self-starter, persistent, ability to work independently and function within a team environment - Excellent analytic and quantitative skills, including ability to identify and obtain needed data to confirm/backup hypotheses - Excellent verbal and written communication - Strong ability to create and deliver effective presentations to external constituents - Problem solving and negotiation skills - Strong cross cultural and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; highly organized - Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications - Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) strategy - Ability to effectively handle multiple situations simultaneously Location: Delhi - NCR While the COVID-19 crisis is ongoing, CB India team will be working from home until is it safe to return to the home office in Delhi.
