Urgent Requirement for OTC Reconciliation - NIGHT SHIFTS

We have an excellent opportunity with one of our clients, an Investment Bank in Bangalore for OTC reconciliation role. For more details kindly refer the below job description:

Major Duties

- End to End People management

- The process involves reconciliation of transactions, security positions and cash activities. Account type includes but not limited to OTC products like swaps, CFDs etc.

- Taking ownership for all the deliverables being sent out by the team with proper review checks.

- Ensuring back-ups are in place for a smoother process flow in case of absences in the team.

- Cross training the team on all the activities in order to ensure business continuity.

- Analyse security and cash positions to identify discrepancies between customer's positions and counter party with good troubleshooting skills.

- Should have the ability to maintain various MIS reports and should ensure timely completion of all the MIS and other ad-hoc reports to be submitted to management.

- Liaising effectively with team members, internal groups and external counterparties to resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.

- Should be able to handle critical queries/issues and escalate on a timely manner.

- Ensuring deliverables are adhered to as per agreed SLAs by helping team members in resolving their queries and issues.

- Daily reviews to ensure the process is in adherence with SOPs and the same are updated as required.

- Should be capable of adding and reviewing various control checks.

- Understand and minimize risks associated with breaks and trade mismatches.

- Understanding the settlement of cash flows associated with various financial instruments.

- Issue escalation and resolution on a timely manner.

- Respond quickly and accurately to queries in a high volume, time sensitive trading environment.

- Prioritize time accordingly to action trade breaks by timelines.

- Developing action plans for resolution of outstanding issues.

- Ability to work on ad-hoc activities.

- Consistently look to streamline and automate the reporting/analytical process with the use of technology
