OSB Group - Manager - Savings (10-15 yrs)

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of savings offerings. Plan and drive continuous improvement engagements in both non-operational and operational areas, including the ability to harmonize and optimize processes.

- Identify process/business capability/organizational inefficiencies through a current state/future state analysis and develop targeted recommendations to close gaps.

- Use multiple data sources to conduct capability assessments and strategic workshops to gain alignment with stakeholders on business objectives and technology and process priorities.

- Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, extract insights and develop strategic recommendations.

- Anticipate customer needs and, using a developed fact-base, identify and discuss potential solutions to improve the customer journey.

- Work with the business, product, IT, project team, work stream leads and key stakeholders to ensure the various stages of the project delivery are understood, accepted and approved by key stakeholder within the agreed timelines.

- Lead, guide and support multiple work stream leads / consultants through the design and implementation of targeted change strategies including identification of change impacts to people, process, policy, and structure, stakeholder identification and alignment, appropriate communication and feedback loops, success measures, training, organizational readiness, and long-term sustainability.

- Strong project management skills - Structuring projects, managing profitability, and ensuring exemplary delivery.

- Prioritize, manage time effectively, escalate issues appropriately, and keep information confidential is critical to this position.

- Lead and champion all key stakeholders involved with project delivery to meet the short and long term business needs and capabilities across the Group bringing external perspectives, identifying and promoting best practices and procedures.

- Engage with key stakeholders to influence the change solutions to meet business goals, scope and strategy requirements.

- Clearly communicate with all levels of an organization, and be skilled in building and delivering executive level presentations.

- Be seen as a key SME within Savings representing the function in core working and steering groups.

- Prepare and provide regular reporting / status reports against agreed delivery timelines clearly documenting progress, any risks & issues against approved delivery producing consolidated reports considering status and updates from all key work stream leads and business impact.

- Coordinate and provide feedback to Line Managers on performance and delivery against assigned resource to support project delivery.

- Identify key stakeholders and resources needed to support the successful delivery of accurate and detailed project milestone and project plans.

- Support with internal and external audit reviews ensuring deliverables and findings are addressed in a timely manner and full audit trails around delivery i.e. project documentation, sign offs, plans etc are available and accurate.

- Prepare business cases and project initiation documents ensuring scope, benefits, resourcing, are fully understood and clearly documented before any project initiation is taken forward.

- Conduct and prepare high and low level assessments on project lessons learnt to establish areas of change needed to improve efficiency to support change delivery.

- Deputize for Line Manager as required and complete ad-hoc duties as outlined by Line Manager.

- Ensure that all processes and procedures across the function are dealt with promptly, efficiently and in accordance with agreed service standards and expectations whilst establishing the new process.

- Management and development of all staff in line with agreed training and competencies standards, including all aspects of performance management, coaching, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration etc.

- Conduct end-to-end reviews of process activity to ensure processes performed by the teams are effective, compliant and in line with regulatory and business policies.

- Ensure system deficiencies following the project go-live is fixed within the stipulated timeframe and supporting evidence to validate closure.

- Attend key management working groups and meetings as subject matter expert for the Savings and Investment team, and where required chair meetings or provide departmental updates, ensuring assigned actions are completed in a timely manner.

- Sign off on key documentation such as business requirements, functional design, testing approach/summary and deployment of change into live.

- Engage with internal and external auditors as and when required

- Ensure full compliance to the ISO 27001 Certification Requirements

- Maintain the company's compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory on-line training modules and attestations

- 10+ Years of experience working within a Financial Services organization is essential.

- 2+ years of exposure to projects and transformation initiatives with key experience focusing on banking operations is desirable.

- 3+ years of previous experience in line management and supervision of staff with the responsibility to manage performance and people development is essential.
