Senior Supply Chain Analyst/Manager - Remote / Hybrid

ORMAE is looking for Senior Supply Chain Analyst with good Supply Chain, analytics and Optimization background to deliver solutions for complex supply chain problems of our global clients. One should have worked on Supply Chain tools like Anylogistix, Supply Chain Guru,. One should have helped organizations by making their supply chain more efficient via network optimization, demand forecasting, inventory planning,. using these tools. One should have strong understanding of real world Supply Chain problems and their solutions.

One may also be involved in project management of optimization & analytics projects. Therefore client handling and team coordination skills are also important.

Mandatory Skills - One should have worked on any one of the Supply Chain tools like Anylogistix/ Supply Chain Guru/ Locom/ Blue Yonder (Any one of the above tools) though Supply Chain Guru is mandatory.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Analysis:

Your primary responsibilities are to work with our clients to design, manage, and deliver analysis-driven, actionable supply chain network recommendations. Your primary role will be to review and validate data, build visualisation charts/dashboards, build optimisation models in tools like Llamasoft or Anylogistix or JDA or similar optimisation packages, run scenarios, and develop output reports. Client and/or other team members can be in multiple geographies. Projects may also involve travel to client locations.

Business Analysis Responsibilities:

- Gather, understand, analyse, summarise and report client data by closely collaborating with client data teams

- Build network optimisation models according to specifications

- Design modelling approaches to answer strategic business questions

- Develop comprehensive output reports from optimisation scenarios

- Own the analysis and drive them to completion, involving the client and project manager as appropriate

- Work closely with the project manager to design, develop, and integrate material for client presentations

- Identify and communicate ways to improve analysis tools and techniques

- Instruct and mentor junior consultants/analysts in techniques and methodology

- Lead and manage project teams and their activities; Identify and communicate issues that may impact project schedule or quality

Project & Client Expectation Management -

- He should be able to build quality presentations on client proposals, able to effectively present to clients and convince on innovative ideas and also represent ORMAE in leading conferences across the globe

- Ensure that the solutions proposed by the team not only meet the customer's requirements but also has innovative thinking that other companies cannot provide

- Be more than a project manager by acting as a Consulting Partner for the Clients

- Identify the right projects for development as non-commercial company initiatives that will yield maximum benefit in the future

- Once lead is generated and kick-off meeting completed, take a leadership role in managing the customer relationship

- Drive the project right from initial meeting/inquiries with the customer through contract stage, project delivery stage, UAT and Go-Live / Cutover

- Play a proactive role in customer discussions by preparing/identifying required documentation prior and post the interaction

- Document/assign responsibility to document business requirements, solution acceptance criteria, UAT test scripts

- Work closely with the leadership team to define the solution contract for the customer

- Ensure high quality of deliverables at every stage of the project life cycle

Skills:

Exposure to Supply Chain Management is expected. One should One should have experience in building qualitative presentations and project management.

Qualifications: An ideal candidate will:

- Hold a Master's degree or equivalent from a leading institution

- Focus on Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related areas during under/postgraduate education is a plus

- Must have at least two years of experience in using quantitative methods (such as Excel, Access, Tableau, Alteryx, R, SPSS, SQL, Python etc.) to analyse supply chain decisions

- Must have at least two years of experience with optimisation modelling tools like Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, JDA Supply Chain Strategist, IBM LogicNet Plus or similar supply chain modelling environments for Network Design

- Have experience of working with teams in multiple geographies and cultures

- Have advanced skills in managing large data via relational databases

- Good understanding of the supply chain domain

- Good communication (written and verbal) and client interaction skills

- Manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently and work well under tight timelines

- Reside in or be willing to relocate to Bengaluru, India with some travel to client sites
