Job Title / Designation : Area Sales manager

Department : Sales

Location : Gurugram, Haryana

Job Purpose

The incumbent shall be responsible to grow volume, revenue, and profitability by developing the assigned market for Organic Roots, mentor and handle front line sales team to drive higher market share, should drive the business development related initiatives in the assigned area & maximize the growth in channel and Manage Operational Issues.

Primary Roles & Accountabilities

Sales:

- Develop a network of dealers and distributors in the assigned region and achieve the Sales target assigned to him/her.

- Manage Sales, Receivables within the limits approved by Management.

- Design and implement local Sales promotion scheme.

- Set clear volume targets and KPIs for his/her team.

- Assist Sales Managers develop upon the future Sales targets based on the market trends.

- Will be accountable for the assigned market (key accounts and outlets).

- Regularly conduct surveys, enquiry, sales follow-up, negotiations with dealers and customers.

- Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.

- Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.

- Compiling and analyzing sales figure on regular basis.

Marketing

- Implement, review and fine-tune the marketing strategies to increase business volumes based on regional market needs.

- Use field data for assigned market to identify brand/pack gaps in territory and partner with marketing team to develop area plans to drive shares

- Managing/Planning activation in OP account using contracted advertising and marketing budgets

Team Management

- Conducting regular feedback sessions with team members and providing necessary inputs.

- Carry out coaching, mentoring and hand holding for the team members and develop upon their required skill set.

Qualification and Work experience

Work Experience : 2-5 years- experience preferred in relevant industry. Should have strong experience in handling distributors, Modern and General Trade in FMCG industry
