Head of Sales and Marketing
We are looking for the highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales and Marketing. This role oversees all aspects of sales, including online sales, retail sales, distribution, customer relationship management, and sales team management. In this position, you will be a key player in driving the global growth and success of our Brand in the industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies, you will lead the development of the company's marketing plans and oversee the implementation of these plans across all channels and markets you will work in close collaboration with sales, product development, and other functions, and leverage data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies that integrate both online and offline channels to drive revenue growth. Identify target markets, customer segments, and sales goals, and devise effective tactics and approaches to achieve them.
- Online sales management: Oversee the development and execution of online sales initiatives, including e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and digital sales channels. Optimize online sales processes, customer journey, and user experience to maximize conversions and revenue generation.
- Offline sales management: Manage retail sales operations, distribution networks, and offline sales channels. Develop effective sales processes, training programs, and incentives to drive sales performance and achieve targets in physical stores, distribution centers, and other offline outlets.
- Customer relationship management: Develop and implement strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty across online and offline channels. Foster strong customer relationships through personalized sales approaches, exceptional service, and effective CRM practices.
- Sales team management: Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Set clear objectives, establish performance metrics, and monitor team performance to ensure sales goals are achieved. Implement training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Sales forecasting and analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify sales opportunities, market trends, and customer needs. Develop accurate sales forecasts and implement effective sales tracking and reporting mechanisms to measure performance and make informed decisions.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, operations, and finance teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Provide insights and inputs to drive product enhancements, pricing strategies, and customer-focused initiatives.
- Business development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop regional marketing campaigns and promotional activities to generate leads and expand market presence. Engage in networking and industry events to build relationships and uncover potential partnerships or sales opportunities.
- Budget management: Develop and manage the sales budget, allocating resources effectively between online and offline sales activities. Monitor sales expenses and provide regular reports on budget performance to senior management.
- Stay abreast of international trends: Stay updated with the latest trends, to help the product team, and best practices in online and offline sales. Continuously evaluate competitor strategies and market dynamics to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Requirements and Skills:
- Masters degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in sales management or a senior sales leadership role, -with expertise in both online and offline sales channels.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, strategies, and best practices across digital and traditional channels.
- Demonstrated experience in managing online sales platforms, e-commerce, marketplaces, and digital sales channels.
- Familiarity with retail sales operations, distribution networks, and offline sales strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data, forecast performance, and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
