Key Responsibilities:
- Business Opportunity Identification: Identify and explore new business opportunities within the Air and Sea freight sectors, particularly focusing on generating volumes.
- Needs Assessment: Thoroughly assess the specific freight forwarding needs of potential customers.
- Rate Quotation: Prepare and provide accurate and competitive rate quotations to assigned clients based on their requirements for various sectors and ports within our principal's service profile.
- New Customer Development: Aggressively develop a new customer base while effectively retaining and growing relationships with existing clientele.
- Booking Conversion: Diligently follow up with clients on submitted proposals and quotes to secure bookings and convert inquiries into confirmed business.
- Commercial Target Achievement: Consistently strive to achieve and exceed set commercial targets for both volume and revenue.
- Sales Reporting: Generate accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and submit them to the respective Heads of Departments (HODs).
- Relationship Building: Proactively build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
- Post-Sales Support: Provide outstanding post-sales support to all clients to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Consistently execute established sales strategies across the assigned zone.

- Strong understanding of Air and Sea freight forwarding processes, terminology, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of identifying and acquiring new customers and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Strong follow-up skills and a tenacious approach to converting leads into bookings.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in generating sales reports and analyzing sales data.

- Familiarity with relevant industry software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients (primarily in Mumbai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad).
- Knowledge of specific industry verticals (manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals).
- Familiarity with CRM systems
