Job Description

- We are seeking an experienced proposal writer to join the Optymyze Proposal Team. This individual will work closely with US and international Sales Directors and our Proposal Team in India to support the completion of Requests for Proposal and Information (RFP and RFI).

- This individual will write, proofread, and edit proposal content and be responsible for overseeing workflow to completion. Additional duties of this position include gathering required proposal information, analyzing requirements, coordinating writing schedules and deliveries, hosting kickoff calls and conducting some analysis of RFX.

- Strong persuasive writing, editing, and project management skills are required for this position.

What Will You Do?

- You must possess exceptional writing skills and organizational ability to develop new proposals or enhance existing proposals with inputs from subject matter experts to deliver a winning product.

- Support India-based RFP team in the completion of requests for proposal and requests for information

- Become an expert on Optymyze technology and our security systems

- Liaise with product, technology and security teams to gather technical product information for written proposals

- Perform editing and toning and ensure that we are answering questions from prospective clients in a concise and accurate manner

- Participate and contribute in all proposal content reviews and support addressing comments where applicable to ensure key differentiators and win strategies are clearly defined

- Manage the components of our RFP content library (using Loopio cloud-based software) that are focused on technology and security. Ensure these are regularly reviewed and updated and that any old or irrelevant content is removed.

Qualifications

What You Should Have?

- 2-3 years of experience in a proposal writing role, preferably within a technology company

- Ability to translate complex business requirements into digestible sales and marketing-related language

- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, including impeccable grammar

- Exceptional attention to detail

- Ability to understand and answer questions directly and in the context of which the questions are asked while positioning Optymyze as the leader among competitors and casting a positive light on Optymyze

- Excellent communication and listening skills

- Must be a self-starter, naturally driven to provide top-quality work, highly self-disciplined, and able to work independently
