Operations Supervisor - Export/Import Firm (5-10 yrs)
What you'll need :
- To be willing to work on a 6-day Tuesday to Sunday weekly work schedule
- 5+ years of inventory, shift, or picking/packing experience, ideally in a cold chain or eCommerce environment
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Strong people management skills
- You are experienced in hiring and building great teams on a large scale. You can coach and develop talent within each functional area of fulfilment (quality and production)
- You have a demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage a large team while driving its culture
- You have an interest in spending 80% or more of your time in the facility, working directly with all levels of staff
- Strong process development and analytical skills
- You can drive continuous improvement when it comes to safety, quality, and cost
- You have extraordinarily strong production planning skills
- Customer experience is an obsession and you are willing to do whatever it takes to satisfy customer needs
Others:
- Strong experience with using ERP and WMS software
- Some experience RF and/or automation experience
