Operations Manager/Lead - Agri Startup

The Operations Manager/Lead role is with a leading agri startup that has social cause at its heart. They are looking to expand exponentially across regions and needs someone who can lead operations for this scale up. This is a senior role and will work directly with the Founder's so it has great visibility.

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE NEEDS SOMEONE WITH STRONG PROGRAM AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERTISE IN LEADING OPERATIONS FOR A HIGH SCALE ORGANIZATION AND SOMEONE WHO HAS DEEP INTEREST IN THE SOCIAL IMPACT SECTOR.

Major Responsibilities:

- Responsible for leading entire Operations across regions. This will include all expansion of various programs and providing end-to-end services and trainings in the rural markets (inputs, training, advisory).

- Execute the strategy from an overall operations perspective with the team partners and farmers

- Institutionalise best practices, build institutional knowledge, and train teams

- Regularly analyse data and recommend action plans to improve business operations

- Regularly visit and meet customers, partners and team members

- Lead and mentor a large and diverse team

Who will fit the bill:

- Strong interest in the social impact/rural markets- this isn't a typical corporate role

- 5+ years in experience in scaling operations across sales and service in rural India

- Someone who led projects, people and developed talent. At least 5+ years of team management experience

- MBA from a good B school
