About Our Client : 

Our client, a construction chemicals MNC is one of the leading manufacturer and supplier in its segment. Currently they are looking for a senior operations professional to manage one of their clusters.

Job Description : 

Reporting into the GM Operations India, you will be responsible for:

1. Efficiently managing the factory operations including quality and HSE as per performance management target, and establishing a highly transparent HSE culture

2. Managing manufacturing excellence across the factories allocated

3. Implementing a strong HSE performance across the factories allocated, achieving the HSEIP and other reporting requirements

4. Ensuring all factory operations are carried out in a safe manner and all HSE Bulletins/Standards are implemented, trained and sustained

5. Implementing all budget and strategic plan growth drivers relating to factory operations/supply chain that includes any MAAP improvement initiatives, maintenance initiatives, achieving key efficiency measures, productivity measures, quality measures, SSOPs, control measures, customer service levels and quickness to respond, while ensuring compliance of all Statutory and HSE regulations of the country

6. Leading, directing and achieving performance management culture, with a high level of customer satisfaction - both internal and external

7. Ensuring all statutory compliances relating to factory operations, supply chain/logistics are complied with completely

8. Driving performance management culture across the factory allocated. Ensuring inventory optimisation, regulatory compliance, achievement of Score card parameters including production, efficiency, and cost to serve, quality parameters

9. Liaising effectively with General Manager Operations to implement any efficiency measures to sustain factory operations/productivity and automation measures

10. Achieving budget/forecast volumes, cost and key score card parameters including productivity targets, Inventory optimisation, any SLOB reduction, OEE/OTIF measures etc

11. Implementing an EAC costing system reflective of true and latest costs of all Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Semi Finished and Recovery rates, for allocated Factory and warehouse locations

12. Preparing and aligning functional strategies of operations budgets, appraisal objectives and clearly communicating the same to all relevant internal stakeholders in time

The Successful Applicant : 

Ideally you are an engineer with at least 10-18 years of work experience in operations/production and supply chain in chemical industry. You should possess good communication skills, interpersonal skills and leadership skills. You should have an excellent track record in your earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment.
