Trade Finance Operations Lead - B2B/Import - Export/Chemical Industry/Pharma

Preferred Industry : Chemical industry accounting experience.

- B2B Import Export industry can also be considered.

- Trade finance 10 + years min of experience is what we are looking for, where they would have touched other things finance as well.

- Job stability in the past

- More than 8 years of accounting experience in trade financing for more than 5 yrs at least is must.

- We don't have a finance team and this person will need to build a 2-3 member team.

- Startup experience is a plus

Salary : Up to 30 LPA

- Lead and setup the finance function for the Company which will include managing treasury, risk management, audits, taxations, accounts, compliances, finance operations and management - for our Indian and foreign entities

- Perform credit assessment of companies through partnerships and data-backed approach to build customer credit profiles

- Manage spot and forward bookings of forex to hedge against FCY fluctuations and profit through accurate forecasting, all within the bounds of regulatory frameworks

- Handle letters of credit, bank guarantees, export pre-shipment credit, advance payments

- Provide insights and analysis on finance trade and business forecasting on a monthly basis

- Develop strong partnerships with banks, credit rating agencies and other statutory authorities capable to support business requirements of the company

- Compliance with financial regulations and evaluate workability of transactions based on FEMA, DGFT and PMLA perspectives in accordance with the RBI

- To be a lead advisor in financial projections, risk assessment and budgetary planning for the company linked with business strategy

- Setup sound and scalable accounting systems in the company, lead financial audits and liaison with external CA, CS and lawyers

- Keep technology at the centre of entire financial operations and think of new ideas of how to make operations more efficient for internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications :

- 8-10 years of experience in the field of International Banking, Foreign Exchange, Currency Derivative and Trade Finance

- Possess good knowledge of RBI guidelines for forex market, OTC spot market, currency derivatives, export finance, banking compliances, trade finance products, specifics of chemical trading regulations including operations, documentations and credit risks

- Knowledge of structured finance tools

- Analytical thinking, approach to finance problem solving, anticipation of obstacles, and have a good business judgement

- Strong network of finance partners and banks and regulatory authorities - Excellent management, relationship building and networking skills - Should have an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen
