Client Details

Our client is an MNC and one of the largest speciality chemicals and materials companies in the world. They have a presence in more than 50 Countries and operate several plants in India. They are aggressively growing their product portfolio in India through multiple brownfield expansions and look to double their revenue in the next 3 years. They are looking for an Operations Head to manage multiple units at their site in the Mumbai region

Description

Managing a team of around 45 people you will report to the Plant head in India and the Regional Operations Director in China. You will be responsible directly and indirectly for:

- Overall production at the plant managing a team of production and maintenance managers

- Making budgets, executing and keeping tab on capex spends

- Managing manpower issues at the plant

- Keeping a high level of safety standards at the existing plant

- Managing co-ordination, and process at the brownfield expansions coming up

Profile

You have an experience of 18+ years at the plant level handling overall production and maintenance activities. You have strong plant management experience at a paints/ resins/ coatings unit. You are essentially a chemical engineer and have experience in execution of plant responsibilities in an International project environment. People currently working in Maharashtra and fluent in Marathi will be preferred. Excellent English communication skills are required for this role.
