LOOKING FOR OPERATIONAL LEADER - SALES TO CASH FOR A CAPTIVE UNIT OF LEADING MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN US.

Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of core accounting experience including handling month end closings
 
Specific Functional Skills: Financial Accounting, Sales and Cash Accounting
 
Other Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Good Systems / ERP Skills, Eye for detail, Analytical skills

Should be flexible to Shifts.

Overall responsibility:  Accounting for Sales to Cash for various businesses in US

Key areas of responsibility: Sales to Cash accounting and month end closing activities for various businesses for the US region.
 
Educational Qualifications: CA / ICWA
 
Brief Description:-
 
Sales to Cash accounting and month end closing activities for various businesses for the US region. Handling sales to cash process related inquiries from businesses and providing guidance as per company accounting policies. Providing financial analysis as needed and also helping assistance during the internal / external audits.
 
Detailed requirement:
 
- Sales to Cash month-end closing

- Shipped Not Billed accruals

- Rebate accruals

- Invoice error that results in need for accrual

- Accrued Commission accruals

- Sales Pyramiding adjustments

- Inter SBU transfer accounting

- Monitor outbound intercompany billings/returns/service billings

- Integration between SBU sales to cash procedures and corresponding SAP financial processes

- Balance sheet reconciliation of sales to cash accounts -

- Accrued Discounts / Rebates / Commissions

- Product Warranty – Current & Noncurrent

- Royalties payable – Current & Noncurrent
 
- Provide assistance on acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures

- Provide analysis for quarterly revenue recognition request

- Royalty receipt accounting and payment processing

- Miscellaneous Cash Receipts

- Misdirected Cash Posting

- Rebate and commission accounting analysis and guidance
 
 Special considerations:
 
- Exposure to US GAAP Accounting

- Exposure to revenue accounting and revenue recognition standards per US GAAP

- High visibility and interaction with Business managers and analysts in US

- Exposure to SAP and GCAP environment this will give an opportunity to enhance ERP skills of the candidate.
