Operational Leader - Cash Application

LOOKING FOR OPERATIONAL LEADER - CASH APPLICATION (AM ROLE) FOR ONE OF THE LEADING CAPTIVE SECTOR OF A NO 1 MANUFACTURING UNIT IN US.

Location: Hyderabad (looking for Hyderabad based candidates only)

Skills: Cash Application, people management role. Must have excellent comm skills.

Desired Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Commerce (MBA / ICWA preferred)

Shift: Must be willing to work in shift.

Basic Function: This position is accountable for the entire process of cash application, credit reporting and internal controls.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Maintain the team structure efficiently and effectively to meet the goals and objectives assigned to them;

2. Properly motivate the team members;

3. Measure department performance with appropriate metrics and publish the same;

4. Provide for ongoing training of the staff;

5. Manage relations with all stakeholders and customers, periodically talk with the credit managers to get their feedback about the service and understand their needs;

6. Initiate process improvement and quality reviews to simplify and improve productivity;

7. Organize and distribute the load of work between the analysts on a daily basis (it fluctuates a lot between days and/or countries)

8. Monitor all payments are applied accurately and timely. Publish relevant MIS on a periodic basis

9. Monitor the cycle time (must be below 2 days for cash payments) and that all activities are done as scheduled

10. Lead and provide information and documentation for Internal audits and SOX audits.

Work Experience:

- 4 to 6 years Credit / AR / Cash application experience;

- Knowledge on SOX / Internal Controls compliance a must

- SAP experience desirable

- Should have led at least teams of 10 to15 members.

Other Skills:

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power point and Word)

- Strong communication skills

Energetic, detailed oriented, able to adhere deadlines on a timely manner.
