Operational Excellence Expert - Pharmaceutical Industry

We are hiring for professionals who are expertise in Operational Excellence for our leading Pharmaceutical client.

Designation: AGM / Senior Manager

Reporting to: Head- OE

Location: Pydibhimavaram & Miryalguda

Job Responsibilities:

Purpose:

- The Operational Excellence (OE) team member will be part of the plant OE team with responsibility for implementation of Lean Daily Management (LDM) and Continuous Improvement program at respective site.

Area of Responsibilities:

1) Facilitate implementation of Lean Daily Management for various levels in the organisation including cascaded performance scoreboard, standard work and governance mechanism.

2) Facilitate problem solving at various level (JDI, Kaizens, CI Projects etc.) with the site shop-floor teams in the areas of quality, flow and productivity.

3) Conduct frequent periodic Process Audits pertaining to Lean Daily Management processes.

4) Teach fundamentals of Lean Principles to respective teams.

5) Provide both formal and informal training in problem solving, project management, change management and in OE program basics to employees across the levels in the organization.

6) Codify ideas, best practices, templates and other knowledge created over a period of time.

7) Prepare periodic reports as required for the plant and BU.

Skill required: Background/job experience:

1) Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or pharmacy with 9-14 years of experience in operations like Manufacturing or Quality Function in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food and allied industry.

2) Experience in coordinating multiple projects in cross-functional environment would be added advantage. The person should be ideally a Green Belt or conversant with application of Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques.

Key Measures and Targets:

1) Robust implementation of LDM in the plant thereby support the plant team to achieve their targets.
